PRIVATE BETA

Susan is in private beta.

Susan's the AI personal assistant that actually does the chore — classifies the email, drafts your reply, learns from every correction. We're running a small private beta with SME directors while Google finishes verifying the app. Here's what that means for you.

What you get as a beta tester

  • Early access

Use Susan on your real Gmail today. Contract summaries, meeting briefs, classification, drafting — the whole loop.

  • Founder support

Direct line to the founding team. Bug? Idea? Weird edge case? Email and we'll respond — usually same day.

  • Free while we figure it out

No subscription during beta. You cover the AWS / Gmail / storage running costs your usage drives — usually pennies per day for a single director's inbox.

  • Pricing-lock at launch

When paid plans go live, beta testers get 30 days' notice and a locked-in rate honoured for the first year.

What we ask in return

  • Sign a one-page beta agreement

Sent over by email before you connect your inbox. Covers the Google warning, data handling, and beta-only terms. Plain English; takes 2 minutes.

  • Click through the Google warning

Until brand verification clears, Google shows an “unverified app” warning the first time you authorize Gmail. We'll walk you through it; it's one click of “Advanced → continue”.

  • Let us learn from your usage

We watch how Susan is actually used so the product improves. We don't store email content beyond the processing step, but we do log classification metadata, artifact approve/reject rates, and any feedback you send.

  • Tell us what's broken

Beta is when things change. We'd rather hear about papercuts than have you walk away. There's a one-click feedback chip in the top bar on every page.

FAQs

How long is beta?
Open-ended for now — we'll signal a beta close at least 30 days in advance and you'll have the option to move to the paid plan or leave with your data.
What's in the beta agreement?
The full plain-English doc lives at /beta/agreement — it covers what you get, what we ask in return, how your data is handled (Gmail OAuth scope, app-layer encryption, EU hosting, GDPR rights, sub-processors), the limits of the beta (no SLA, AI requires human review), and how you leave. Takes ~5 minutes to read. We're still in draft (v0.2, not yet legally reviewed); you'll see the version pill at the top of the page.
What happens to my data?
Your Gmail tokens are encrypted at the app layer (tweetnacl secretbox, key rotated yearly) and stored in EU-hosted Supabase. Email bodies are processed in-region (AWS Bedrock eu-central-1) and not retained beyond the classification + drafting step. Artifacts you approve go to your Gmail drafts — Susan never sends without you.
Can I leave anytime?
Yes. Disconnecting Gmail (from /app/settings) revokes Susan's access immediately and tears down the Pub/Sub watch. Your account data can be deleted on request to zahir@letai.co.uk.
When does pricing start?
After beta. Pricing tiers are in the marketing site for reference but the meter is off during the program — beta testers will get advance notice + a locked-in rate when paid plans go live.
Who else is in beta?
SME directors mostly — wholesalers, importers, services firms, founder-led teams of 1-10. The shared trait is: inbox-heavy work that bleeds into evenings + weekends. If that's you, please email.
Why isn't this self-serve?
Until Google completes Susan's brand-verification review, every new Gmail connection shows the 'unverified app' warning. The legal doc is what makes that warning OK to click through. Once verification clears, sign-up will be self-serve.
READY?

Email the team and we'll send the agreement over.

  • Brand verification in progress.Google will show an “unverified app” warning the first time you connect Gmail. The team walks you through it.
  • Short beta agreement. One-page participation doc, sent over by email before you connect your inbox.
  • Gmail read + modify access. Susan needs the gmail.modify OAuth scope so she can label your inbox, draft replies, and (with your Approve click) send. She never auto-sends — every outbound stays in your Drafts folder until you say go.
  • Usage + feedback logged. We watch how Susan is actually used so the product improves quickly. No surprises — this is what you're agreeing to.
  • Free during beta. No subscription fees yet — you cover your own usage costs (Bedrock, Gmail API, storage). Pricing lands after beta.

Or email directly.
